Despite the fact that it was about 10 °C, of course I had to jump into the Soča River for a swim.  I jumped from the rock to the left and swam around for just a moment before the lack of feeling in my extremities drove me out

Soča River in Slovenia… the color and transparency of the water in this river in amazing.  With the mountain backdrop, this is definitely one of the most beautiful spots I’ve come across on the trip.

Earlier in September, I went to Salzburg to visit Red Bull’s Hangar 7 - a private spot near the airport where Red Bull shows off their fleet of planes, race cars and general awesomeness.
For those of you who know how much I love Red Bull, this was about as close a thing to a religious pilgrimage I could possibly undertake and it was just as epic as I hoped it would be.

More street art from Ljubljana

Ljubljana has some amazing street art - this small capital city of Slovenia (pop ~270k) has a really artistic feel and has definitely been one of my favorite stops of this trip.

Parliament in Ljubljana… a most interesting choice of sculpture for the entrance!

This sculpture/installation outside the Kafka museum in Prague is 2 men peeing into a pool which is an outline of the Czech Republic. The motion of them peeing is electronically controlled so that they pee in the shape of various letters.

I tried posting this before, but the video apparently didnt work.
